The app won't open or keeps crashing
Make sure you're running the latest version of Mealtime7 and that your device's operating system is up to date. Try closing the app completely and reopening it. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the app (your data is saved to your account and will sync back).
I can't sign in to my account
Mealtime7 uses Google or Apple sign-in. Make sure you're using the same account you originally signed up with. Check your internet connection and try again. If you're on a VPN or restricted network, try disabling it temporarily. Still stuck?

The app says "No network connection"
Mealtime7 requires an internet connection for AI features, syncing, and recipe import. Check your Wi-Fi or cellular data connection. Try opening a website in your browser to confirm you're online. If your connection is fine but the app still shows this error, it may be a temporary server issue — wait a few minutes and try again.
What devices and platforms are supported?
Mealtime7 is available on iPhone (iOS 16+), iPad (iPadOS 16+), and the web at mealtime7.com. Android support is coming soon. Your account data syncs across all platforms.
How do I create an account?
Open Mealtime7 and tap "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Apple." Your account is created automatically the first time you sign in. No separate registration or password is required.
How do I change my email or account details?
Your account is linked to your Google or Apple ID. To change your email, update it in your Google or Apple account settings. Changes will be reflected the next time you sign in to Mealtime7.
How do I upgrade or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. To upgrade, go to Settings in the app and tap "Upgrade." To cancel, open the App Store app, tap your profile, go to Subscriptions, find Mealtime7, and tap Cancel. You'll keep access until the end of your billing period.
How do I restore my purchases on a new device?
Sign in with the same Google or Apple account you used when you subscribed. Your subscription status is linked to your account and should restore automatically. If it doesn't, go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases."
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings in the app and tap "Delete Account." This will permanently remove your account, recipes, meal plans, and all associated data. If you have an active subscription, make sure to cancel it first through the App Store.
How does the AI meal planner work?
The AI considers your family's dietary preferences, past meals, and your requests to suggest personalized meal plans. Simply type what you're looking for (e.g., "healthy dinners this week" or "quick lunches under 20 minutes") and the AI will generate suggestions. You review and choose which meals to add to your calendar.
How do I import a recipe from a website?
Go to your Recipes screen and tap the import button. Choose "Paste Link" and paste the URL of the recipe page. Mealtime7 will extract the title, ingredients, instructions, and nutrition info automatically. You can also paste plain text or upload a PDF.
Can I share recipes with friends or family?
Yes! Open any recipe and tap the Share button to generate a shareable link. Anyone with the link can view the recipe, even without a Mealtime7 account.
How does the shopping list work?
Your shopping list is automatically generated from the meals on your calendar. Ingredients from multiple recipes are combined and organized. You can also add custom items manually. Check items off as you shop.
Do my meals and data sync across devices?
Yes. All your recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, and family settings sync automatically when you sign in with the same account on any device or the web.
