Welcome to Mealtime7. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mealtime7 application and website at mealtime7.com (the “Service”), operated by Mo Nezarati (“Mealtime7,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Ontario, Canada.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. While families may include minor children as household members within the app, the account must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
To use the Service, you must create an account using Google Sign-In (or other authentication methods we may offer). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

AI-generated content provided through the Service does not constitute medical, nutritional, dietary, health, or professional advice of any kind. The Service is intended for general informational and convenience purposes only. You should not rely on AI-generated content as a substitute for professional advice from a qualified nutritionist, dietitian, physician, allergist, or other healthcare provider.
AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information. This includes, but is not limited to:
You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and exercising your own judgment regarding any AI-generated content before acting on it. This includes, without limitation:
You expressly acknowledge and agree that your use of AI-generated content is at your sole risk. Mealtime7 shall not be held liable for any adverse reactions, allergic reactions, illness, injury, or any other harm resulting from your reliance on, or use of, any AI-generated content provided through the Service.
The Service offers a free tier with limited features and paid subscription tiers (“Plus” and “Family”) with additional features. Current pricing and feature details are displayed on the Service and may be updated from time to time.
Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selection). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
We may change subscription prices from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
We may offer free trial periods for paid subscriptions. At the end of a free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. We will clearly disclose the terms of any free trial before you enroll.
You retain ownership of content you create or upload to the Service, including recipes, notes, and other materials (“User Content”). By submitting User Content to the Service, you grant Mealtime7 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
You agree not to submit content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

The Service, including its design, features, code, branding, and non-user-generated content, is owned by Mealtime7 and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it in accordance with these Terms.
Recipes imported from third-party websites remain subject to the intellectual property rights of their original creators. Mealtime7 is not responsible for the accuracy or legality of imported content.
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services, including Instacart, Google, and external recipe sources. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Mealtime7 is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MEALTIME7 EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU USE THE SERVICE AND ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
(A) IN NO EVENT SHALL MEALTIME7, ITS OWNER, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:
(B) IN NO EVENT SHALL MEALTIME7’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (I) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MEALTIME7 IN SUBSCRIPTION FEES DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (II) FIFTY CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $50.00).
(C) THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (WHETHER CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF MEALTIME7 HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mealtime7, its owner, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
We may also update or change features, functionality, and pricing of the Service from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect your use of the Service.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) shall survive.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Before initiating any legal proceeding, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may proceed with formal dispute resolution.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mealtime7 regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
Mealtime7 shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, power failures, internet disruptions, or acts of third parties.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on the Service with a revised “Last updated” date, and where appropriate, by providing additional notice (such as in-app notification). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
